The official I was killed late in a game and want somewhere to gloat thread!

This is for those of us who managed to stay alive longer in a game than we should have, or at least long enough to really do damage to the other side.

You are also welcome to post in here if you survivied to the end when you should have been killed much, much earlier.

My role wasn't really something to gloat about, nor did I really do much with it, but I revealed days ago and managed to stay alive for a bit, making new items the whole way and passing some along.

It happens from time to time, almost invariably when a wolf mounts a successful bluff on the seer. This time there were (at least?) two wolves giving alternative events to the ones you knew to be true.

Making it to Night 8 is about as deep as I get to play as a villager, especially when I'm not monumentally screwing up each and every day. Hard to be too frustrated about getting night-killed in that spot.

Not very often - usually when a seer reveals the only way they get lynched is if there is a counter reveal that is more believable. But the first person to reveal almost always gets the benefit of the doubt.

It's just in this game with definite conversions, and no way to prove that you were at any time the seer, and two wolves undermining you by counter-revealing, yeah.. you don't see that often. But think of it this way - your lynch was like getting two awesome scans and then dying afterwards.

Yeah, I I kinda had that feeling creeping in the last hour, but it was not nearly enough to change my vote and after being on J23 all day, plus I didn't see how I could have switched in the last hour and not come off bad. I did think it was interesting I was one of the last two though with how much I pushed the seer.

Yeah, I was ready for you to start pushing me instead of J23. I think ironically that might have convinced J23 100% you were a wolf ;-) I tried to make a big deal about how a wolf would be waffling between the two, and so I made sure not to waffle at all, even though you seemed safely set on J23.
