Ben, if I understand well, you probably will start a new league in the near future. I'm sure you have a precise idea on how to create it but I like to know what do you think about this list of points I like to see implemented in a future league:

1. The draft file with "QB/WR nerf draft" (of course if it works).

2. A cap reduction of 10-15%.
I like the cap reduction rule other leagues use but I think 20-25% is too much and in the end this generate other type of problems.

3. The "future 1st round pick" rule.
I know many GMs don't like the rule about the "future 1st" but let me explain better how it works in my mind. If you want you can trade your future first round pick "only" at the end of the regular season. For example you can trade your 2018 1st round pick (not 2019 or 2020) at the end of the 2017 season. In other words you can trade your future 1st round pick only when you know your position in the next draft.
For the other picks (2nd to 7th) there are no restrictions.

4. Franchise player.
You can franchise a player "only":
- one time in his career
- if his loyalty is +60
- if your team has drafted him.

5. Contracts.
You can sign an UFA player for how many years you want. No two or three years minimum contract. Renegotiations are allowed. Cap-out contracts are allowed. Contract with last season voidable are allowed.

6. Relocation.
A GM can request a relocation only if public support is 0 (in the "franchise value" window) for 5 consecutive years and if the "wants team desire" of the new city is +90%.

7. Stadium.
The commissioner at the start of every season change all the stadium with turf condition fair or lower in average.

8. Coach.
Coach are protected only in the 1st round of the coaching staff but a GM can offer in the 1st round an head coach job to an offensive/defensive coordinator of another team.

9. Position switching.
Player can change position how many times you want but only inside their unit group:
- Backs: RB, FB
- Receiver: TE, WR
- Offensive Line: C, G, T
- Defensive Line: DE, DT
- Linebacker: ILB, OLB
- Defensive Backs: CB, S
QB, P, K can never change position.

10. Injury setting at 150.

11. Real name team.

Of course these are only my personal preferences ... :D

1. The draft file with "QB/WR nerf draft" (of course if it works). - Yup.

2. A cap reduction of 10-15%. - Debatable

3. The "future 1st round pick" rule. - Interesting

4. Franchise player. - Too much to track, IMHO

5. Contracts. - Too wide open, especially if you want a smaller cap reduction. UFA min length rule works pretty well.

6. Relocation. - Eh, not a probably in my opinion.

7. Stadium. - Interesting.

8. Coach. - Hmm.

9. Position switching. - Mostly fine, but debatable on certain groups, imo.

10. Injury setting at 150. - Debatable (200)

11. Real name team. - Blech.
