I'm reaching out to anyone here that may be a member of the teams official message board located at 49ers Message Board Community - Powered by vBulletin (http://forums.49ers.com/messageboard/)

I have been attempting to register an account there for well over one month now. I follow the steps and procedures I click on the link I get emailed and within 12 hours to 7 days I get an email saying that my registration has been deleted because it doesn't meet the membership requirements.

The problem is there is nothing on the message board that lists any requirements. It appears that there is a membership moderator that has given up on membership moderation and has decided to just delete all new registrations due to membership bots or what not. I've attempted to reach out to the admins of the board via their "Contact Us" link but after a couple different emails I haven't got a response. I've also attempted to reach out to a couple of the moderators that have email links and none of them have responded. On a last ditch effort someone from the 49ers Subreddit on Reddit was talking with an admin but that has now seemed to fall through.

I've never been a member on the board and I'm looking to get in touch with fellow 49er fans so it's not like they are deleting my registration because of trolling or history. My hope is there might be someone on this board that frequents there that may be able to help a fellow member out?

TLDR: I can't get registered on the 49ers message board, help me.

Sounds like a lot of work Dan.

Are you registering with a hotmail/yahoo/gmail email?

Yeah, it has been a total waste of time, and I'm sure it will be worthless, but I figured I'd reach out here and see if anyone was a member there.

Nope I never register with those types of addresses. I have my own domains so I've tried with a couple different emails, and from different computers (in case it was an issue due to IP address). It's frustrating and now I just want to get registered for the principle of the whole thing, if I'm having this type of issue there are probably lots of other people that are fans having the same problem.

Yeah sounds like a pain. Maybe PM Ben. He has posted some messages at times about adding people at certain times and things they have to do if security is high.

Maybe they decided that the bandwagon was already full? :)

I guess so, but I've been on it since I was 12. Oh well...

Well now things are getting interesting. I created two different user names one with my normal name and my normal email address (which wasn't approved) and another with a more '49er' friendly user name to a different email address (which was approved). WTF.

Perhaps they do not allow real names?

If only my name was DanGarion...
