Do NOT remove your file association for the EXE extension from your computer (including registry). Oi! that was messy. Darn my need to watch new episodes of Futurama...

How in the world did you learn how to remove file associations from the registry without knowing how to put them back?

I didn't "learn". A virus actually did it. So whenever I tried to double on...anything, it went BONG! Huh? I don't know what that means...

Luckily I could run things as administrator and found a way to reset things.
