Hey all,
A friend of the family's son entered the Washington Post Wrapping Paper Contest and was selected as a finalist. Only three finalists come from his age category (age 6 and below). He did an "under the sea" theme with sea creatures with hats and lights, a snorkeling Santa, and a yellow submarine carrying elves. If you feel so inclined, check out all the finalists at 2011 Weekend & Going Out Guide Wrapping Paper Contest - We need your vote! | PostFun: Promotions & Events on washingtonpost.com (http://postfun.washingtonpost.com/node/812) (if that doesn't work, go to PostFun: Promotions & Events on washingtonpost.com (http://postfun.washingtonpost.com/) and click "2011 Weekend's Annual Holiday Wrapping Paper Contest"). The family friend's entry is number 4. Sadly, it looks like none of the "View Larger" links works.
Anyway, voting is open from December 4-10. I'm not sure if you can vote more than once. You definitely can't vote more than once per day. If you want to vote for some other paper, that's of course cool, too (democratic process and all that). If you do vote, you will have to give your name and email address. Be sure to uncheck the box so you don't get Washington Post (and their partners) spam.
