Have you received the new guide update? I got mine last night overnight.........wow it's much improved. If you have HD, a new guide is being rolled out in increments. I live in the Cincinnati market and received mine last night.

Got mine yesterday here in Charlotte, looks nice but haven't really had a chance to see what changes they've made other than looks.

I don't see any change yet but I don't think anything's ever "rolled out" in Idaho. I'm sure we'll get it after everyone else upgrades to next version

It's only to HD. I would assume it happened to everyones at the same time.
I am sure I will get used to it but just like a change to any website or game interface I have used for years I hate it right now!

I have HD, but don't see any change, unless I'm looking for the wrong thing.

Ours was pushed out a week or so ago. I like the change. I do wish they'd take UVerse's idea of showing what's on the channel you're going to switch to in the P-in-P, at least as an option.

Didn't even know they were doing anything, not in Phoenix yet. Curious to see this because the guide is one of my annoyances with them.

So what exactly is new and improved in it out of interest?
(for those of us who don't have it yet)

No changes here, either. Did a bit of looking around, and on a couple of boards people are saying the updates are completely random, to the point where if you have more than 1 HD receiver, they might not all update at the same time.

I got the change about a week ago. It is faster but I still get the "hiccups" when using the remote. That has always drive me crazy!!

New HD interface. Design is more slick and modern (black background instead of the traditonal directv blue, icons instead of menus, easier to order PPV  ) I guess its faster but I really notice very little difference. Nothing major and from all the e-mails I got from Directv advertising it I would have been much happier if they would not block HBOGo instead of spending all this time and effort into making it look prettier.

So people have a hard time reading a list of shows that are ordered by channel number?
