Groundhog getting VegasL Make It Big, which looks like an odd cross between a Roller Coaster Tycoon and the Sims, but in Vegas. (Vegas baby Vegas!)
Blackadar received one of the hot games in Portal.
Thomkal got Puzzleworld which is exactly what it sounds like. Puzzles...logic, wordsearch, crossword, and others....puzzles...
Dolfin received VVVVVV, an odd name which seems to represent the constant spikes you are trying to avoid in this Megaman like oldschool platform clone. THe odd thing is you can constantly invert yourself and run on the ceiling so those V's could represent being up or down. As I said I would suck at this...

bhlloy gets Risen, a nice looking straight up computer RPG. Nice and beefy!

MJ4H receives one of my favorite puzzle games. A sidescroller with some platform goodness and the most unique characters and world I've seen in awhile, the old Playstation 1/PC game OddWorld: Abe's Oddysee. I'm addicted to the Slig's laugh.

For jbergey, not so much a game persay...as a "Playing GOd" simulator. A science experiment gone mad, the universe is literally at your fingertips and you can play with the planets and the galaxies however you like. Kind of a scary thought watching what happened when I set one of the planets out of its orbit. Universe Simulator..

And speaking of prequels...Qrusher receives the original Half Life 2.

One of the best levels in that game for me was "We Don't Go To Ravenholm". Slicing those big guys in half with the gravity gunned longblade was ...well...just messy fun. And if cuttin' people in half with a long blade is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.

A nice looking RTS with hints of RPG in it. He gets to be king for a day and rule a kingdom sending out groups of heroes for experience and treasure and barking orders to his servants. Comes with the expansion as well.

He receives a game I can't shut up about. A nice pair of games known as the OddWorld Oddpack: Abe's Oddysee + Abe's Exodus. In these puzzle platformers, you play Abe, a Mudokin, a slave to the greedy corporate Glukkons, whose profits are down so they want to cut up your species into tasty treats. I'll make a big statement here. Without the Oddworld series, there would be no Portal. Sure there's no portal gun, but it's the same type of game. Get through rooms soolving puzzles without using guns. And the popularity of these games kept the puzzle game moving forward as a sellable commodity.
