View Full Version : Santa, His Leftovers, and the Magic Color Wheel of Death!

This thread has no purpose. At least no useful purpose.

It has one important silly purpose so I guess that technically you could say it has ONE purpose.

That useless purpose is to torture and torment those poor bastards that drew a coupon in the Santa's Leftovers thread. I mean No we would NEVER torture and torment anyone. We only want to showcase and laud these great people that were so LUCKY enough to choose a coupon.

These Lucky number choosers chose poorly.

So now they must spin the spinner on the magic Color Wheel of Death, which I own and will actually do the spinning.

So let's get to it...

On the Wheel is the following:

On this wheel are some pretty annoying things and they all revolve around YOU!

:) Magic Wheel color choices :D

Red - Bad Poetry
Orange - Flash Fiction (I didn't say "Bad Flash Fiction" because I don't like being redundant)
Yellow - Stupidity
Green - A Random page from a random book
Blue - More Bad Poetry
Indigo - Adventure Awaits...
Violet - Abuse
Rainbow - CHOOSE A MAGIC CHOICE!

Our first contestant is Mota. And he's getting ready to spin, just look at him. He is sweating and dreading the thought of getting sucked under the wheel and having his bones crushed. I used to worry about that whenever I watched "The Price Is Right".

Oh, did I mention this thread is interactive...

Not only that but it is mandatorily interactive. (So if you don't interact, well...we'll find you...and we'll come and get you)

Not that but it is dangerously mandatorily interactive... (so be careful)

So once I post the main post of whatever, then you can add to the masterpiece however and whenever you want. WHenever you add to a poem/story/or whatever, post the entire thing up to then before adding as there will be multiple things going on in here so we have to keep track.

And finally the subject of each thing that comes up is the person that drew the coupon. So everything centers around them. So build up their egos or crush them into a fine paste.

Mota hesitantly takes the wheel, gives it a little windup, and LFINGS IT ROUND! It is a nice solid spin! The wheel is going so fast all the colors blend together in a magic rainbow. Magic fairy dust shoots out of it. (Gettind on his jacket and causing him to sneeze).

It's slowing down...slowing...slowing....green....blue...
"No Whammies! No Whammies!", he shouts.
coming to a stop on violet...no it crosses over! RED! RED! is his spin!

He wins some bad poetry about him!

Contestant #1: Mota
Result: RED - Bad Poetry

Bad Poetry rules - write one or more poetic lines featuring the name "Mota".
- use any bad rhyming poetry scheme you want. Limerick, lyric, ABAB, AABBA, ABBA (Dig it the Dancing Queen!) )
- rhyme with "mota" at least once
- copy and paste all the previous lines to your post...then add to it.
- highlight your Mota poem text in red
- finish other's lines, give one line, give a whole new unrelated verse, whatever, as long as it's poetry and it's bad. GO!

*ahem*

Mota - A Bad Poem

Our first poor bastard's name is Mota
He likes to bathe in warm orange soda
I heard he slept with fifty goat-a
Mota, Mota....Mota, Mota

day? This poem could easily go for weeks. Think Coleridge length...

So our next contestant...Pilotman.

Here he comes, here comes Pilotman and he takes the wheel, ready to crush it if things don't go his way. He spins it and it lands on....INDIGO!

He shouts "My name is not Indigo! Prepare to die!"

He grabs a sword and starts hacks the wheel to bits.

PilotMan has earned Adventure Awaits...

This will be an interactive game here in this thread as if you (PilotMan) is playing an old school text adventure like Zork or Colossal Cave. You get 10 lives (or rather 10 deaths) before the game is over.

All responses to this game should use this color.
You may being whenever you are ready by donning your favorite adventuring equipment and typing BEGIN.

Though he claims that his spins are unbiased
I have to wonder if CF's the wisest.
For he chose for his poems poor Mota,
Whose name does not rhyme one iota.
So while we are told to rhyme about him
I have a more satisfying whim.
For claiming that Mota's name rocks,
I say a pox upon CrimsonFox.

At least people are participating so I can't be mad
And Autumn's whimsical lyrics are rad
This idea was pure stupidity I know
It was mainly a thing to lesson the blow
For the people that did not win a gift
And give them SOMEthing (so they won't have to play Rift)

<font color = "Red"> He signed up for this game
Not looking for fame
But just hoping for anything but the wheel.
Instead he got a coupon
Just what he needed, a third Valve one
Somehow he got the shaft end of the deal.

With his cunning and sly
But Mota got the last laugh
When Autumn's pox made Fox cry.

I don my robe and wizard hat. Begin.

The Great wizard Pilot Man picks up his indigo robe off the floor and puts it on. He takes his hat and places it on his head and grabs his wooden staff. ""Let's go."

He kicks open the door to his cottage and stands majestic, raising his staff into the air. "Let us begin!" he shouts.

He immediately keels over and dies.

A very poisonous snake slithers out of his robes.

You have 9 lives remaining.

You are in your Wizard's quarters. It is messy.
Visible objects: Crumpled indigo robe on floor, pressed white robe on hook, pressed black robe on hook, pressed red robe on hook, cold pizza
Visible exits: Front Door

Damned snake. I figure that the pizza is probably old, so I grab a piece to give to a passing kid. My blue robe probably has pee in it now, so that's no good. I guess I'll don my red robe. The place needs tidying up a bit. Maybe I can find that potion of protection I misplaced. I run over to the fountain of never-ending mana and power up. Then head to the exit.

A brick of life smashes throw your window and lands on you. As it hits you in the face you can read writing on it.

It says,
"To play this adventure, you may only use commands used by the adventure. Usually this is just a verb and a noun.

For instance to take a mop, you would say
TAKE MOP
or
GET MOP

Command verbs can be really any verb. Typical ones are OPEN, CLOSE, EAT, DRINK, TAKE, GET, SIT, SLEEP, GO, ATTACK, KILL, EXAMINE / LOOK, PUT, DROP, INVENTORY, etc. and HELP

You can also do special things with object using IN or ON, etc.
like
PUT KNIFE ON ALTAR
PUT CAKE IN OVEN

To travel around, you can use directionals (EAST, WEST, NORTH, SOUTH)
or type the name of the exit (If there is a door you can say "DOOR")
or GO <exit or="" object="" name="">
or you can say OUT or IN if appropriate for the place."

You may use multiple commands in a single post but put them each on a separate line. If you what to type other chatter or comments, you may but keep it separate from your commands. (FOr instance don't boldface general comments, and put it apart etc)"

The brick of life then kills you.

YOU HAVE 8 LIVES REMAINING.

The brick of life gives you an extra life.

YOU HAVE 9 LIVES REMAINING.</exit>

Red Robe: PilotMan, the wizard, takes his red robes off the hook and shakes them out a little. Nothing. He slips them on and they feel mighty comfy.
Pizza: Taken.

You take your staff and fling open the front door ready for your greatest adventure and walk through.

PilotMan's Lawn

This is the unkempt lawn of PilotMan the Wizard. Weeds are everywhere. There is a cobblestone path leading out to a mailbox. On the Path is a dark red fox. He says, "Welcome to Foxland. Best be careful. It's a dangerous place. Instructions on how to play are written on a brick. It should be arriving soon."

Possible exits: Cobblestone Path (E), Wizard's Cottage (W), Weeds (N), Thick Grass (S)
Objects: Weeds, Grass, Fox

And not sat upon by his big bottom

"That Rocks!" laughs the fox
as he bites you, "No, seriously don't touch me."

The bite looks nasty. It turns a dark shade of purple. You keel over and die of rabid fox rabies. The fox gobbles you up. You have died.

YOU HAVE 8 LIVES REMAINING.

You are in the: Wizard's Yard
Items: Fox, Grass, Weeds
The fox says, "Since I like your rhyming, you have been granted a gift. Point it at something and utter what you want that rhymes with it. Now run along and fetch me something to eat. There's a good lad."
Rhyming wand drops at your feet.
