Hey guys,

This is my first post here, primarily because I don't really know what else to do. I bought The College Years on New Years Day, and it all installed perfectly. Additionally, I have been playing the Demo for a while now and haven't had an issue with this.

However, when I try to run the game, I receive the error message:

"Sorry, could not get a license at this time.
Please try running this program later.

Please trust me when I say I have tried everything I have read online, including all of the suggestions from the FAQ, and unlicensing the program. Nothing works.

I have even contacted ViaTech's elicensing support on two seperate occasions, and have heard nothing in reply. This has been since the 3rd of January, when the support tickets were created.

Is anyone aware of anything I can do or anyone I can get in touch with? I really want to play this game, in addition to having spend money on it and not getting past installation!

Thanks for your help,
tek

I don't recall anyone ever getting in invalid code from e-license before? I recently repurchased FOF2k7 (lat week) and it worked just like it always had.

As for contacting viatech, I've heard that they are less responsive than they used to be (irt Solecismic products). I can only speculate why that might be true.

Is there an option to get an offline license? You might have to go that direction. Alternatively try to launch in administrator mode as well.

I don't know of any option to play the game without a licence, which is a little frustrating. I have literally everything as an Administrator.

Is there any way to get in contact with Jim from Solecismic? I'm just peeved that I've paid what, $20 for this game? And I haven't even got past installation.

Any help is appreciated,
Tek

(P.S. - I'm from the UK so its not even like I can call Viatech - I looked into that)
