Vista Issue

Hello,
i just purchase FOF 2007 and i cant get the game to open after downloading. i have read the reference/vista post and set the directory in my downloads to "run as administrator".(there is also a file in x86, but theres no option for administrator that i can find) it created a shortcut and that shortcut doesnt do anything. so i manually created a shortcut from the directory and when i try to open it, a window comes up asking me if i want to "repair or remove FOF". i choose repair and it acts like its installing. after its done i choose exit and try it again. and the cycle starts all over again.
any ideas?

note: sorry, forgot to add the demo worked fine.

Need to run the application (not the shortcut) as admin and in XP compatibility mode.

thanks dzilla77, i changed the compatibility mode but its still stuck in that cycle. im going to try and remove everything and start over.

dzilla77 i want to thank you again. i went back through and made sure i also had the xp compatibility mode set on the right files and im finally up and running. time to play some football. thanks
