We really need to know if this game is going to be supported at all anymore. This "no news till release" stuff is for the birds. I don't know whether to delete this game and move on or what? It really is fair to your customers Jim, people who have spent money on your product shoould get something from you as far as your plans.
Jim owes us nothing. He put a game out in 2007 that most of us are still enjoying to this day. I'd say that's more than fair to the customers. We should be thanking him for making a great game.

Funny thing is, FOF(2k7) is still great...sure it could use an update or three, but it's still occupying my free time more than I would have imagined in my wildest of dreams.

I was just thinking this yesterday when I fired it up again.. I keep playing it year after year.

Jim supports his work better than almost anyone in the industry.
He also acts professionally by not releasing rumors, promises, release dates or other chaff.
When he says it's ready, it's quality stuff. It's also more playability for the dollar than anyone else delivers.

Heyteach, I just read your post history. This subject is the only thing you've posted about for the last 3 years, other than once you asked a question that was covered in the FAQ. You even started another thread about this same thing 2 1/2 year ago. If having a developer give you information is so critical to you that it's the only thing worth posting about to you, I'd suggest that you do one of two things:
1. Take up the issue privately with Jim.
2. Find a developer who communicates the information you feel is critical, and go buy his game.
But beating this same dead horse again at this board isn't an option for you. I don't particularly like the lack of communication, either, but it's not a deal-breaker for me. And after all this time, it's simply not reasonable to think that JG's style is going to change. Thread closed.
