The New FOFC Sprint Cup Series - Season 1 Sign-ups

I'm bringing back the FOFC Sprint Cup Series yet again. This time I am starting fresh with an entire new series. All old records are gone and every driver is a rookie. Races will be run about 3-4 times per week. To start I am asking every entrant to only create 1 driver until I get a sense of how many entrants we will have. I will open up the sign-ups to 2 drivers per user in a few days. I still have old stat sets from those who were in the last few seasons. We have 39 total spots available.

MAJOR CHANGE FOR THE NEW SERIES

The biggest change to the new series is the championship format. In the past we ran a strict 20 race schedule based overall on points. This season we will be adopting a chase format. The top 10 in points after 15 races will make the chase as well as 2 wildcards. The wildcards will be those with the most wins that are outside of the top 10. In the case that no one outside the top 10 has any wins the 11th and then 12th spots will be used giving us 12 in our chase for the title. The chase will last 5 races. Each driver will start at 0 and then get bonus points based on position after 15 races.

Wildcard 1 - 0
Wildcard 2 - 0

Each driver will then get 5 more bonus points for each win they have.

We will be using the old NASCAR scoring system instead of the new one however.

All drivers please PM with your stats. The following will explain how to create your drivers stats.

***If you would rather have me create a stat set for you I would be willing to do so. But there is no guarantee on how well the driver will perform with those stats. He could be a top driver or could be near the back. Just give me an idea of a few strengths of your driver and a few weaknesses and I will create the stats.***



You have 200 points to add to the first stat set. The Min number can go no lower than 70. The Max number can go no higher than 100. Their must always be at least 5 points between your Min and Max numbers.

You will get 60 points to add to the car stat set. There must be a 10 point difference between the Min and Max numbers.

With an hour practice session you can probably get a pretty decent idea of how the car will be. But, the stats are always changing race to race. When you have a minimum of 75 and a max of 95 it could be anywhere between those for the race so sometimes drivers just have bad days.
