Last night while playing the game, everything froze up and I had to reboot. Once I got back in and tried to fire up Front Office Football again, I got the following error.

"The General Manager Records database has been corrupted. Remove the file frfoot.fgr from the universe folder or uninstall completely before reinstalling"

Sounds simple to fix, but I've uninstalled completely (I believe) and reinstalled also and still can't get the game to work. I've looked & used search to locate the frfoot.fgr file and the "universe folder" and have had zero luck.

Can anybody help me? I love this game and I've played it for years and NEVER had anything like this happen before!

Thanks!!

Forget it, I found it... After an hour or two of looking... Back to playing now I hope

Sweet. Now if this ever happens to anybody else they will at least stumble upon this and know you're okay.

lol

After running this through my sarcasm software I got this "Why don't you post what you did to fix it in case someone else has the same problem in the future?"

I post this cause some people don't have good sarcasm software, but it was funny

Sorry to bump this old post, but, alas, I just got this error (on FOF8), and, like the OP, I cannot find the frfoot.fgr file. Unfortunately, the OP never posted how he resolved the problem. Anybody have this error and can help me out? Any help appreciated!

If anyone runs into this issue, I found the file. It is a hidden file in Windows 10, so you have to make sure "show hidden files" is checked. Found it in Users/xxxx/AppData/Local/Solecismic Software. (the xxxx is the user name). Now my game is running again, but my saved game is gone. Oh well, time to start over.
