Well, gentlemen, I'm currently in the running for a sports and social media gig at Xfinity. In order to advance in the contest I must finish in the top five in votes on Xfinity's Facebook page. Won't you please vote for me? You can vote once per day and the contest ends on February 19.
If I finish in the top five I am considered a finalist and will be assigned to cover a live NBA or NHL game in early March via social media. A panel of judges will then determine the winner of the full time position from the five finalists.
If it's not too much trouble, you simply have to:
1) Like "Xfinity" on Facebook: http://facebook.com/xfinity
2) Vote for me here: http://www.smarturl.it/xfinity?app_data=vote193
(If the direct link doesn't work, click the "vote now" icon on the main Xfinity page and then click "vote" at the top. I'm Brendan W (currently on the 2nd page of videos).
Thanks, everyone! Wish me luck!

Voted, or at least tried to. Do you know whether or not you have to accept the installation of their app in order for the vote to count?
