Millwood has a no-hitter through 8, against the Giants no less!

That's amazing... *throws salt over shoulder* ;)

3 walks, little over 100 pitches. Guess he was worth a little more than Johnny Estrada.

Yeah, that was great. Against the Giants is a pretty big feat, I think.

He was part of Atlanta's combo no-hitter back in the day as well. Nice job!

Kinda begs the question "Has any pitcher traded for a back-up catcher ever thrown a no-hitter?"

Actually, in the local paper today was an interview of Johnny Estrada. He was in our AAA Minor League team for several seasons, so he was pretty well known to those who followed the team. He mentioned how he didn't really like being known as "that guy who was traded for Millwood", but he knew he would have to live with that stigma for the rest of his life.

He didn't know how right he was going to be. :)
