The famous bass player from Booker T. and the MGs and The Blues Brothers passed away at the age of 70.

One of the best bass players to ever play. Booker T. and the MGs to me will forever remain as one of the top handful of bands. Booker T. and the MGs also was the backing band for Stax records, who was the Motown of the south.

Fan of both Booker T. and the MGs and Stax, no doubt was on a lot of my favorites. RIP.
