In the playcalling screen (Single-Player), there are no screen routes assigned to WR or TE (except for *one* play in the 5WR). Yet, watching the solevision, you will regularly find screen plays going to the WR or the TE.
So, is the sim engine simply not based on the list of available plays, but rather on more general, differently-functioning concepts of "what is a screen", etc. ?
Here's the kicker:
-A 100% screen passing offense will still produce targets to the WR/TE if you have that GP in place, and select "Have Coach Run Play" every time.
-That makes it seem like the coach is choosing from among the list of plays, according to the GP.
-If not, then in a SP game where you run the play-call/scoreboard, you are working with two different engines depending on if you select "Have coach call play" or not.
