View Full Version : What should I do next? Newbie

Here's the deal. I've done most of the 101 stuff, building on to the stadium, hired asst coaches, trainers and youth training monies. However now I'm little light on cash, just about 29,000 dollars left before I hit in the black. I want to hit the transfer market but as I'm low on cash and I don't really know the market at all what should I do next?

Is the huge temporary expense due to stadium upgrades? I thought it was best to wait until you had a full house to upgrade...?

BTW... don't ask me... I'm new, too. ;)

It can go either way. My advice is to be pateint and not go into debt. You got the stadium expansion, so if you win you should generate some revenue. Problem is this you need quality players to win. How are your players right now?

Golden Eagle here's my roster. Due to my lack of player knowledge at this point I'm not sure who is good or a keeper on this team, however it looks to me like a pretty crappy bunch at this point.
Now looking back at the newbie guide it stated that a new team starts with 600,000. My team only started with 300,000 so I think I made a 300,000 dollar mistake. Done is done I guess. I'm a pretty conservative kind of person so I can be patient and wait for some funds to roll in. I was thinking maybe I should try and pickup a few 10,000 dollar guys that could help bring me some wins. I also fired my first coach who was rated poor and my new one is rated inadequate, alittle help I guess. I also won my first game 3-2 against the next worst team in the league. It's a win none the less I'll take it!

I do think my upgrades for the stadium was too much now looking at things.

Find a passable keeper in passable form. Unfortantley your going to have to go in debt, but it should be wortth it. Then decide what you want train and start gearing your purchases toward that.

passable keepers can be found for anywhere between 65 to 100K, if you are wiling to dig a little on some markets. Stay disciplined and don't get get into high end bid fight and you should be able to get one semi-cheap
