My friend asked me this:
Do Kindles or E readers have an adapter you can buy to boost WiFi grabbing in hot spots??? Can't seem to find any info on the outer net
Any help? I have no clue..My Kindle confuses me.....

Not quite sure what you're looking for. Our Kindles and iPads download Kindle books almost immediately whether we're at home or at a Starbucks using their free wifi. Just yesterday we pulled into a Starbucks, bought a Latte, and downloaded five books to four devices. It took longer to make the latte than it did for us to log on to Amazon, buy two of the books, sync the devices, and download them along with a couple of others.

I'm not aware of that capability either. Are you looking to use its rudimentary browsing features? But agree book downloads are very easy & quick.

He said he has two spots where he goes but they drop before they take hold.. He needs something to boost the wifi signal grab. Don't know if its possible.
