Both of my sons (15 and 11) have been collecting cards for a few years now and have acquired some decent cards. I'm wondering if there is some software out there that would allow them to keep track of what they have. I'd really like to avoid having them manually entering all the info, they don't have the patience for that. It would also be cool if they could hit an "update" button and have current book values displayed....

Any collectors out there that know of something like this?

Has to be a better way than just keeping them in a shoebox and looking at them once in awhile....

I used one from Beckett(the price guide people) years ago, but don't know if it's still around or not.

You can do a search for sports card collection database, and should come up with quite a few that might work for you.

Beckett has one that updates card values, but they charge $31 per month for the service...

thats the one i found before posting thread.... seemed ok, but manually entering all cards is tedious.. and no real-time value updates...

on beckett, you just click on a card to "add to collection". very cool, but the real-time value option is a lot of money...
