My cell/car work fine together with Bluetooth for phone calls, however I would like to be able to play Spotify through my car speakers as well WITHOUT needing to run an AUX cable (looks cluttered imo). Aside from the clutter, the other reason I'd like to enable Bluetooth for music is because when I have my cell phone charger in the car (it's a legit wall charger...non of this battery-killing micro usb business), I get really bad interference from what my research has told me is a ground wire...I'm thinking this might not happen if the signal was being feed via Bluetooth.
Further research revealed that something called Bluetooth a2dp would work as a 3rd party substitute device to get my phone to connect via Bluetooth to my car for more than just phone calls.
Lastly, what's strange is that I've listened to Spotify via the AUX cable only to have been interrupted by a Bluetooth phone call...(music pauses) at the completion of the call, I remember SOMEHOW having the music played through my speakers with the cable being unplugged.
I can't replicate this, and all I remember thinking at the time was "oooooh, I just need to find a random dead-end phone number to call each time I get in the car." Lame, but the point I'm making is that this might be possible somehow?????
I've done what I thought to be the typical troubleshooting via the Jeep's menus and that of the phone.
I need an expert to help me find a solution or a device that would allow for this. Radioshack and Sprint were C-L-U-E-L-E-S-S.
Option 3 is to just get a brand new stereo face/front or whatever they're called...but I like mine already and don't feel I need to go that far for a solution.
