Readers digest verson : A couple guys were arrested 25 years ago for murdering a local pot dealer. They've been in jail since (sentenced to life). They just were released as some people on facebook apparantly were talking about the murder - and some investigator was pointed to how things didn't add up with the conviction. Apparantly, the "witnesses" didn't step forward in the late 80s and they claimed on facebook the killers were "black guys". (The brothers are white). They were released (on tethers) awaiting a new investigation and trial.
I was very close friends with the 3rd and 4th brothers (Mike and Scotty) of this family all throughout high school. Not just high school acquaintances, guys that I ran with regularly. They both always adamantly claimed that their 2 older brothers were innocent. - Then again, I suppose that could be expected, even if they *were* guilty. But, they at least, really believed it. Anyway, as you can imagine, they had a great reunion, and are really enjoying having them out and free - for now, at least.
