Calculation for Kickoffs

Does anyone have a quick and dirty spec for figuring out average starting position after a kickoff?

I'm assuming there are some specific play codes in the game log but would love to be able to give my league their average kick distance, touch back % etc.

It's in the tables created by DBUpdater/Interrogator.

That's on a game-by-game basis, so you need to add up the kickoffs and total field positions and just divide them.

Kickoffs = 6
KickoffYards = 411
KickoffTouchbacks = 2
TotalFieldPositionAfterKickoff = 136

I'm assuming Kickoff yards is gross from the spot (30) unless there is a penalty

Is TotalFieldPositionAfterKickoff measured from the kicking teams goal line or the receiving teams goal line.

Lastly, are touchbacks in that TotalFieldPositionAfterKickoff. Int this case would I subtract (2x20)?

That's just 22.7 as the average field position. Touchbacks are included.
