As Jon will undoubtedly say, this will end up being as effective as using a thimble to remove sand from a beach. Still, I think it's atleast worth trying and is a reasonable attempt at a minor protest versus the NFL during this ref debacle:

I dont think they need a protest to get people to not watch Ravens-Browns but other good primetime games will continue to be watched as normal.

It is not going to make any difference, IMO. I applaud the effort though.
I'm still going to watch despite how I feel about the refs. I still love watching the NFL.

I'm sure this is a stupid question... but don't you still have to be a Nielson family (or whatever they're calling it these days) to affect ratings by not watching? Throwing aside the idea that I'm just one household, if I'm not a Nielson household does it even matter?

I have an old friend that worked as a somewhat "higher up" at Nielson for years. I can ask him, if you like.

Nothing says sanity like a boycott.

I am boycotting your boycott.

Boycotting something is only a waste of time if you don't have anything better to do with your time while boycotting. For example, if you boycott MNF and decide to read "The Art of War" instead, you very likely made better use of your time.
