IIRC, IP addresses change if using dial-up or a networking device-- that being said, I think I have an idea....Some people have a habit of using patterns in their work, whether it be in a post, or in a signature or whatever...That style is evident, even if you were to frequent other boards...just a thought..

Frankly I think it is ridiculous that you don't reveal your identity. The internet is already a place to be anonymous. To use a new ID to escape your already anonymous ID just seems nuts. If what you believe in what you say, then say it from the voice we know. This board can be pretty harsh sometimes, but as someone who has felt a lot of that criticism and ire, I can say there is no good reason to hide.

And I am sympathetic to HM's plight. He was regularly baited and picked on. I do, however, think that he continually overreacted and initiated a lot of destruction on his own. On the scale of HM's abuses, the one that got him banned was pretty minor, but when added onto everything else, it just was too much.

Anyway, reveal yourself and have pride or go away. There is no middle ground.
