Didn't see any thread to just say what we think of new shows & the latest season... (Not every show will be worth its own thread)

I just watched the pilot of Last Resort.

I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Andre Braugher is damn good.

I don't see this as being a show that can really last too long. The whole premise is kinda shit. What would have really happened if the events took place exactly as they did in the show? I think as soon as the video went around the world the people behind the whole thing would have cauterized the wound, had the Deputy Secretary of Defense's body found with a note explaining how he did what he did to save America, blah blah patriot love blah. Then we kiss Pakistan's ass, rebuild them & hang medals on the crew of the sub.

On your spoiler, I liked the debut-Braugher and Speedman were good, the others hopefully will get better as time goes on. I too can't see it going more than one season as its a pretty time sensitive show-a quick resolution would likely be taking place if this happened in the real world. (and lets hope it doesn't)

Also watched SVU (mediocre premier) & Person of Interest (best show on TV... loved when he explained the badge & the whole dog thing)
