True story. First one I ever remember being centered in Maine. I remember feeling the one in August 2011, but this was definitely more powerful. As far as I know, nobody is injured and there is no damage at least in the scope of people I know.

My facebook wall just became undreadable for the rest of the night. That must be how southerners react to snow.

Where I come from, we call 4.5 magnitude earthquakes "Tuesday."

Good thing there's really not much to knock down in Maine. ;)

Felt it in MA.

Probably should have felt it, but I guess I was driving? What time was it exactly?

Well, I'm sure there's lobster crates strewn about everywhere. It's going to take a while to pick those up.

7:12

And there's lots of things to knock down in Maine. Acres and acres of forest.

Us Californians use sciency sites for this type of stuff instead of news sites.

I thought this thread would be about the Zumba brothel story. :(

Didn't feel this one, which is surprising. I felt the one in 2011; it lifted my couch clear off the floor. Was definitely more powerful than any I felt when I lived in CA, though there are scientific reasons for that.

21 names and addresses of Johns were released today. One of them is the uncle in-law of a coworker.

felt is here in SW NH. I'm from SoCal, so it wasn't exactly new to me, but still kind of a surprise. It's probably been 35 years since I've felt one (TWSS).

unlike molson, I had a lot of fun on fb afterwards. My favorite was my friend who thought she had an intruder in the attic and ran for her gun.

I didn't realize there was a debate tonight - Earthquake panic is actually a huge improvement after all.

Skinheads are like lobsters in Maine. I'm sure if they need a doorstop they just grab a skinhead...

There aren't all that many skinheads in Maine, but okay.

Probably less than there are in Huntington Beach, CA.

True and I'm sure there's a couple of frightened moose as well.

Poor Maine. It's like this cool western state that somehow got plopped in New England.

It's true. It's not so bad. We're pretty liberal and so is everyone in our neck of the woods except for dastardly New Hampshire.

I've heard that the enterprising Googler can find purported videos out there of the accused.
