Ebay auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2317438404&category=12605)

The bid is at US $1,001,800.01. I looked it up on the MLS and the list price is $1,365,000. I then looked it up on the Brown County land records database. It's assessed at $ 750,600, with an assessment ratio of .8324, leading to a "Fair Market Value" of $901,700. Favre Enterprises, Inc. is obviously looking to cash in on the fact that it's his house.

You've got 2 weeks left to bid. Unfortunately, it's a little small and too long of a commute for me. Nice raquetball court though.

Okay, I have the $800. That puts me second on the offer, so I shouldn't have to sleep on the raquetball court.

That beats my $1,000,000. Consider me out of the bidding.

Buyer Beware. Why would anyone pay that much money for a house that has numerous holes in the walls from errant tosses and shatterered windows from his recklessness? Besides, how are you going to remove the permanent markers written on all of the walls stating, "I have the heart of warrior"?

:D

For those of us who don't have "Bret Favre" money, maybe we can try and buy David Klinger's former (or current) cardboard box.

Do you think if Ryan Leaf sold his house, the value would go down if people knew it was his?
