I wanted to officially announce the beginning of the Kickstarter funding portion of my card game project (someone beat me to it on the main forum a couple of hours after I launched this morning).
Front Office Football: The Card Game is a result of my research into how professional coaches develop playbooks and call plays during games.
I've wanted to create a football board or card game for a long time now, and that research gave me the idea of how to do it.
In this two-player game, you create a "playbook" by choosing offensive and defensive playbooks. You then draw a hand from your playbook and try to outwit and outplay your opponent. A game takes about an hour once you understand the game mechanism.

I realize this is not exactly what everyone here at FOFC would like to see from Solecismic Software, but I've put a lot of work into this and if you enjoy board/card games and football strategy, I think it's going to be a good game. It's also a peek in the direction I'm taking game-planning should there ever be an FOF7.
