Got to watch Christmas vacation and Elf of the plane today. Solid double feature.

Purely nostalgic, but Home Alone (Is this a Christmas movie?).
I'll always tune into Christmas Vacation and try and catch A Christmas Story, though.

Emmet Otter's Jug-band Christmas.
Really it's the only acceptable answer.

Fireplace in your TV is one of my new faves..
As far as something with a plot, I prefer Rudolph. I'll never get tired of that movie.
For something offbeat, I like Rare Exports.

Love Actually is a great movie.
Watching this is a Christmas Day tradition in the ABC household.

1. Surviving Christmas
Late one night during the holiday season some years ago, this movie came up and I thought what the hell, why not? And I loved it. It's one of those movies that won't ever considered be great, but a lot of people after they see it realize it's better than you might think.
2. Nestor the Long-eared Christmas Donkey
A childhood and family favorite, even though it's the most depressing Christmas movie ever. But it's part of the tradition.
3. Christmas Vacation
Obvious inclusion.

dola,
the rest of the Top 10 would be filled with various Rankin-Bass productions.

I liked that movie too.
As far as feeling like Christmas, it never does for me until/unless I watch the 1984 George C Scott version of A Christmas Carol. Mickey's Christmas Carol is an added bonus, as well as the Rankin-Bass movies.

Trading Places hasn't been mentioned yet. I think Dan Aykroyd as the drunken Santa with a gun was an inspiration for Billy Bob Thornton in Bad Santa.

Polar Express is VERY FREAKY! The eyes of all the characters just seem black and dead. Like a film of dolls.
The clothes seem flat and untextured too.
Just kinda freaky. :)
