Hi,
I have been trying unsuccessfully to get the Stelmack Gameplan Analyzer running for some time.
I cannot find the directions for doing this. I did go through the long somewhat technical "Stelmack Utility Suite" thread without luck. I know it is a remarkable tool, but even a great invention has limited use if it's not easily presented.
Pleae direct me the explanation "post" or help me here.
So far:
1) I have the Stelmack Utility Suite in my programs.
2) I run the Analyser.
3) I run Interogator. (I'm guessing here.)
4) I run an FOF team and put up a game log file. ( Another pure guess.)
5) On the Gamepaln Analyzer v2.0.5.0 page I enter:
.. a) Pick League - vnflhist
.. b) Pick Team - pre for providence
.. c) Pick Year - 2012
6) The Analyze button in the right upper corner is still grayed out. I don't know what to do.
7) On the Interogator page I enter:
.. a) Saved Game - 9. The same game I put the game log up on.
.. b) I checked Proceess from season and put in the current season - 2012
.. c) I hit the Load and Generate CSVs. (Nothing obvious happens.)
8) I give up and go beg for help.
You help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Merry

Interrogator is unimportant here, Gameplan Anayzer is standalone.
Picking a league should be sufficient to activate the Analyze button, it's enabled whenever you select the league. If it can provide you a list of leagues to pick from, everything else should be fine.

Thanks Greg,
That's helpful. I use WIN7, 64bit.
When I run the Game Plan Extractor there is nothing in the Pick League pull down.
My Utility Path Checker shows:
FOF Install Path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007
FOF Save path:
C:\Users\george\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007
UtilitSuite Save Path:
C:\Users\george\Documents\StelmackSoft\UtilitySuite
Please advise me what to do?
Thank you,
Merry

If the Pick League pull down is empty, it can't find any leagues at the FOF Save Path location you gave above.

George
Try this
Put a copy of your FrFoot2007.exe from
C:\Program Files (x86)\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007
into the
C:\Users\george\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007
Not sure why but it won't work for me (Win 7 pro) without doing that.

Hi Greg,
If the Pick League pull down is empty, it can't find any leagues at the FOF Save Path location you gave above.
Hi,
Under the FOF is the leagues file. In my leagues folder are all the yearly stats and current data for my leagues. They do not seem to be sorted into separate files for each league; i.e.vNFLfile. Is that the problem?
Thank you,
Merry

If you can open them in FOF, it should work fine for GamePlanAnalyzer. In your save path
C:\Users\george\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007
should be the following directories:
export
import
leaguehtml
leagues
universe
For multiplayer leagues, the "leagues" folder should contain all the data files for every league, there are no subfolders. So my "leagues" folder has:
IHOF0001.*
WOOFWOOF.*
etc
universe has all the single player leagues you play, plus offensive/defensive gameplans and other FOF data files. Again, no subfolders.

Hi Greg,
I have:
C:\Users\george\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\
export
import
leaguehtml
leagues
universe
And the Leagues Folder has:
PFL2007a*
vnflfile*
vnflhist*
RealDeal*
and some other stuff.
These seem the same as yours to me. They work fine for multiplayer FOF.
I only downloaded your 1st and latest Utility Suites. Is that the problem?
Thank you,
Merry

George
Did you try what I suggested ?

Hi,
I did do that.
It did not work.
Also the application file I put there wouldn't boot up the FOF game. It said to re-install the game. I don't even know how the game starts now.
Should I re-install/ If so exactly where should the reinstall go.
Thank you all,
Merry

I have the same issue as Merry. I open the Gameplan Analyzer and under Pick a League, the dropdown is blank except for "(Select League)." I'm running v2.0.7.0 in Windows 7.
I also tried w24olfpack's suggestion with no luck.

If the Pick League pull down is empty, it can't find any leagues at the FOF Save Path location you gave above.
So the Save Path ends at \Front Office Football 2007\
but my leagues are in the Leagues file nested inside \Front Office Football 2007.
Is that the problem?

No, there should be a "leagues" (and a "universe" and an "import" and an "export") directory under that FOF save path. Something is preventing the utility from reading in there to find the leagues.
