Hi all, new here and to this version of the game. Am playing a SP test league game as the Vikings, and have noticed even after saving the Offensive Gameplan multiple times, my Misc. Offensive Selections keep changing without my input. Particularly the directions of runs are different when I check after a game compared to before the game, as well as the percentages of pass distances.
Any idea how to lock these down?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have the setting allowing your coaches to reser your gameplan turned on.

Check for this under:
Global Game Options (open this from the sixth icon in the upper right corner)
Edit Global Options
If you have the third item set to "yes" then you have ceded game-by-game management of your gameplan -- and would see what you describe above. Easy fix right there if you want to control the gameplan yourself.
And while you're there - if you set the 4th item to "yes" then be prepared for your staff to make annoying little changes to your roster that most of the veteran FOFers would never, ever want. Unless you're really looking for a quick move-along experience, I strongly suggest you turn that to "No" also and take full roster control yourself.
Hope that helps.

That was it, thanks! I had thought I had changed all the options to "No" to maintain full control, but that one was not set properly.

One thing that I feel is always a good idea to allow the computer to do is to sign free agents during the course of the season if needed due to injuries. If your coaches are good they will bring you some good replacements and is much much quicker then having to go through that long free agent list yourself.

Are you familiar with the "recommend" button?

in the same global options box there is an option saying "scouts automatically sign players to fill roster". they really only do this though to keep your roster legal, if someone got injured. around training camp if this is selected they will also cut some players to trim the fat, and maybe position switch a few guys to balance things out in places
