Well, I'm not surprrised that Britrock was killed. he made it sound like he had some role. That does tell us that one of hte wolves has been in this thread since he said that.

Well, I've got to assumet hat either the lovers had not discovered each other yet, or Spleen was worried about what a tie might mean. That stinks that we lost three villagers last night though, and is why I didn't want people blindly voting across threads without any reasoning. In retrospect it would have been better to vote me off, though I didn't have anywhere near how much treasure those guys did. What are they finding!!

That is an unfortunate break. This is quite confusing, but that is what is to be expected.
Let's start with something simple and see if we can figure out how many wolves there might be. We started with 18 players, so I am assuming we are looking at 4 wolves. But with the imbalance of things, maybe (hopefully) 3?

NTN hasn't posted in a long time, as far as I can tell, so I'm going to ignore him for the moment. Bhllloy I don't think makes that vote switch as a wolf, knowing he's got a villager on the chopping block, so I won't vote him today. GE didn't vote, which is not good, but I've got him right here and can keep an eye on him. So I think it's between JAG and Chief for me. JAG cast the first vote on me and kept it there. Chief votes Danny, which is an unusual early vote, and leaves it there, despite it becoming useless. He may have just been out the rest of the day. But I think I give JAG the bigger benefit of the doubt, because I think I can guess why he voted me. So Chief it is.

One thing about JAG was that he was pushing us all to vote. To me, that is not the sign of a wolf. I am leaning toward also voting for CR at this point.
Tonight is my wife's birthday, so I i will likely be out of pocket, but will vote before leaving.

Well, mostly because they may all come here. If everybody moves every time, nobody ever gathers together. We had that problem in Evil Dead, you'd go to a room to see somebody and they'd just left.
I'm fine with all moving, I just think we should stay in a bunch.

You see Hogsworth suddenly but he didn't come through the door. He bows and leaves. Suddenly JAG is here.
Going out so briefly: Saldana is seer, scanned Danny and Zinto as wolves, if BG is here protect Saldana tonight, vote Danny tonight, sal thinks Zinto might be brutal. More details later of course.
Everyone's in the bathroom so a bit more. Sal scanned Zinto first because they were in the basement together and Danny next because he's Danny, as he said. When he scanned Zinto, the 'poem' he got from CF said he was particularly fiendish whereas the other didn't for Danny.

Can you think of why in the world in would make sense for Chief and I to give up ourselves for a villager? The only reason not to believe me is if sal is lying, but the way things went down in the Ground Floor thread I rate that as a rather low possibility. I still have a couple chores to do before I can give a full debriefing of everything.
GE, if you come back, you probably ought to change your vote. It looks pretty close.

Alright, here's my info dump from the ground floor:
Day 1: I wasn't on the ground floor that day, but when I read back Mauchow was there by himself. He voted for Jackal and then moved to the middle floor I believe.
Day 2: Only Chief and I were down there. He tossed out an interesting idea that the killer might have to be in the same room where the victim was, which I could see as something CF would set up as a rule. Chief couldn't remember everyone that was on the middle floor when dubb died, only coming up with Autumn and Danny. I voted for Autumn, he voted for Danny. I was out that evening and ended up staying there, he moved either to the basement or middle floor (wasn't clear, he gave a conditional move order and wasn't sure which was accepted) while saldana and Zinto arrived into the room from the basement.
Day 3: I saw Britrock had been killed and figured it wasn't a random kill since he had hinted at it being bad for the village if he died on the top floor Day 1, which seemed like pretty good evidence someone had been on the top floor to see that. I rattled off the names I knew had been on the top floor and then later realized if the killer had to be there, it removed Chief Rum and bhlloy from consideration (and myself, but I wasn't counting me of course). Shortly after the day started, Chief Rum appeared back in the room. I tried to get some info on whatever thread he had been in, but he wasn't sure where he was supposed to have been so he had nothing to report. saldana and Zinto didn't have much to report, they had been in the basement since the start but hadn't seen much of interest. saldana said he had voted dubb Day 1 and thinks Zinto voted for bhlloy but wasn't completely sure on that.
So at this point, I posted that I was going to use the Butler's Favor I had to find out who all the players on the top floor were that were there when Britrock was killed and pass along the info from the ground floor + basement. Then saldana posted that he had something he wanted Chief and I to see before I left and made his reveal, indicating he scanned Zinto N1 because he was in the room with him, found him to be a wolf, and scanned Danny N2 because he was Danny, and also found him to be a wolf. He said he wanted me to pass the info along to the people on the top floor so that if the BG was there, he could get protected. When he revealed, he said he thought Danny might be the brutal because CF gave his scan reports in poems and the one for Zinto said he was evil and fiendish whereas Danny's said he was evil. Chief confirmed that he thought Danny was acting strangely.
I think that's everything. I haven't had a chance to catch up in the thread yet, I'll skim tonight and look more carefully in the morning, assuming I'm still around. Night all.

Good to see saldana was telling the truth, though a bummer that Danny ended up being the brutal. I guess that makes today easy.

Looks like Chief was the night kill. That also gives more evidence to the idea that a wolf has to be in the room to get the kill because he and Zinto were on the ground floor together yesterday, as Danny and dubb were on the same floor night 1 when dubb was killed.
Autumn, per Chief you were on the middle floor D1. Do you recall the voting from that day? At some point this evening I want to try and put together the voting from each day and I'm missing that chunk of voting.

So that's why I suggested the only reason not to believe you was .... because with this game we're susceptible to someone showing up, feeding us bad information, and then it taking days before we find out it's wrong. I'm glad you were able to get up here, as case in point, we'd have no idea about the wolves or seer or any of this.

I'm caught up on the thread now. Autumn, really sorry to hear your family got hit with the flu. Our family has run through a series of colds (everyone but me is over it now at least). I'm impressed you've been around as much as you have.

It just lingers forever, JAG. My youngest started feeling sick last Wednesday. He's pretty much better right now (though he developed bronchitis and had to go on antibiotics). I was pretty much out for the count from Saturday through Monday, and now I still don't feel great, have a light fever and cough and headache and and and, but I can function, at least for stretches. My older son has been out of school since last Friday. He doesn't feel that bad, but he continues to have a fever. It just doesn't go away.

I think that might be a good idea. I think the voting is more confusing when you have no idea why people are voting for who they are.
bhlloy also pushed the vote for britrock, but of course he was on the block so that makes some sense. Still, I think he has to be a candidate after Zinto for sure.
Two things in bhlloy's favor are that he was around when Britrock made his comment so he presumably could've put in a night order to kill him that evening if they were planning on doing it anyway and he wasn't in the room when Britrock was killed. I think ntn is an interesting candidate because of those factors. I don't believe he was around that evening, meaning that the wolves wouldn't have learned about that comment until the following day when the kill occurred and he was here in the room when it happened.
I'll still want to take a closer look at the voting records before I make any final judgments because we should have some solid data to look at knowing about two wolves, but that's where I'm leaning currently.
In fact I suppose that could be a downside of consolidating everyone (or nearly everyone at least, assuming no one left the middle floor) in one room. In separate rooms, assuming wolves need to be present where their victims are, it's more difficult for them to hide amongst smaller groups than in the entire group.

Yes, that's what I was thinking this morning. I think moving as a group is important, but in this case consolidating everyone will remove one avenue of information-gathering, which is seeing who responds to things that happen in separate rooms. Also, it's easier to fly under the radar if you're one of a crowd than one of four.

Still, I'm not sure why they can't put two and two together after seeing everyone not in their room pounce on Zinto to start the day.

I know that both GE and Bhhloy were among the voters for Danny, but the earliness of the vote probably means they were out most of the day. (Of course we know that already for GE) So bhhloy might be picking another name that voted against the known wolf.

Only Chief Rum, Saldana, Zinto, and I were on the ground floor when he revealed. I guess it's possible someone else from the middle floor went there last night and came back to the middle floor during the day the same way I transported myself to this room, but otherwise I don't think so.

Actually Autumn, I suppose someone might be pulling levers or pushing buttons and somehow got shuffled around too. But no one other than those I mentioned were there when I was.

I think the idea that there is an item on each floor that creates a wolf needs to be considered. I believe it was after the second night that we got our roles with potential for an additional role following that day. I was given vanilla villager who is a pussy ballerina with no skills and. one day hoped to be taught by one of my students since I suck at dancing.
Anyhow back to the original point I do believe it would be between jag and bhlloy for the upstairs wolf.
