Scientists have finally filmed the Giant (I say Colossal) Squid

A Japanese film crew and a team of scientists have captured the first footage of a giant squid in its natural habitat. Pictures of the 10ft-long sea creature were shot at nearly 2,000ft below the Pacific, 620 miles south of Japan. Scientists spent 400 hours tracking the squid in a submarine before they recorded the images

But Giant Squid different than Colossal. They found a Architeuthis, the Colossal Squid is a Mesonychoteuthis and a larger beak than the Giant.

Just 10ft long? It's like finding out there is no tooth fairy.

The first pictures of that natural habitat are now up as well. About what I would expected really.

I figured it would look like the Notre Dame offense, something discussed but rarely videotaped.

10 feet? So it's a little bigger than Yao Ming.
