Ku Klux Klan targets metro Atlanta for recruitment - FOX Carolina 21 (http://www.foxcarolina.com/story/20653873/ku-klux-klan-targets-metro-atlanta-for-recruitment)
Ran across this and found it an interesting topic for debate.
Obviously the KKK is classified as a hate group and these flyers contain an image of a hooded Klansman, urging whites to join and stand up for their race.
The Newton Sheriff's office has indicated no laws were broken, since in their mind there was no threatening or hateful message contained in the flyers.
There is a line that the Klan straddles between free speech and an agenda of hate, but since they do have the right to distribute literature and have broken no laws in doing so, or should their true agenda come into play here?
I personally would be disgusted to wake up and find this, or anything else from a group that advocates hate, but unfortunately, despite the offensive images on the flyer, I agree that they can do it.
Curious how others view this?
