How does one get them to respond? I opened a case on Monday. Called and left a message yesterday.
I purchased FOF 2007 many moons ago. I tried reinstalling on another PC, but it said the license was in use. The old PC no longer has the install so I can't un-register from there...

I opened a support ticket with them on 1/9 and still haven't heard anything. From my understanding, they can be speedy sometimes, but usually it takes a bit. Not sure there is anything that can be done except to wait.

Thanks PF, I figured as much. I hate today's support model. some companies make it as hard as they can to speak to a human...

I opened a ticket with them last year and NEVER heard back from them. I ended up using google to resolve my issue, but if you don't have access to the machine with the license you just have to cross your fingers nowadays I guess.

I'm having the same problem -- have tried them three times now to get my license reset.
This sucks.

Any chance you remember what it was you had to do? Be nice to try something...

I ended up doing a manual unlicense. You could do it too if you have access to the machine with the lost license.
Add " -unlicense" to the end of the run code for the program. That should force it to unlicense and free up you up to move it.
I'll give you an example straight from the GDS board. This can be applied to pretty much any elicense product.
"C:\Program Files\GDS\TEW2007\TEW2007.exe" -unlicense
EDIT: Obviously after you add that you have to actually run the program in question.

I reinstalled windows earlier this year and ran into the license problem. I asked for another license about two weeks ago. I just got an answer today.
Good thing I kept an image of the old windows, so I was able to go back there, unlicense, and free a license.
Btw, to unlicense there are several methods: you can go to control panel -> elicense, you can right click on the executable and click unlicense or... well, I can't remember what else. What dubb mentions above is new to me.

Finally heard back from them today - so I guess a little patience really doesn't hurt :)
Now I just have to figure out why I can't install FOF on this machine anymore...

Got a reply today. Went to my spam folder in Yahoo so might be worth giving your spam filter a check if you haven't heard anything.

Yahoo mail is notorious for spamming mail that shouldn't be and allowing stuff that is clearly garbage. At least it was when I used it many years ago.

Finally received a response yesterday. almost 2 weeks turnaround time should be embarrassing for the company.

It really varies from person to person from what I can tell. Last year when I contacted them I had a response within 2-3 days.

When I tried this a long time ago I got a very quick response. This year, it took two weeks. It might be a change in the quality of the company's service.
