I run the IT for a small company (read: NO money) and have been getting by for years backing up our systems by
running a program to archive files (WinRAR or gzip/TAR)
copying those files to an external server (via scp or FTP, or rsync)
Well the boss fellow wants something better. I have been dicking with Bacula and Amanda for the better part of 2 weeks now and I hate them both with the fiery intensity of a million suns. Both are needlessly complicated, poorly documented, and generally impossible to set up unless you were involved somehow in the writing of the source code.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what to use?
