As for the voting, I think we need to work to concentrate everyone's energies on the Lannisters to begin. They have no natural allies and are dangerous for already holding the capital city. It shouldn't be hard to convince the other houses to rally against them.

I think that we don't want to try to vote out Tywin Lannister - he has a lot of money, lands and men, and Joffrey will eagerly lap that up. Instead we want to hold out for the chance that perhaps we can capture him or defeat him in battle at some point.

Jaime seems a good choice in that he won't have any lands to give to Joffrey if he's voted out. However, I wonder whether his "charisma" might mean he has a chance to evade the vote.

Clegane might be the best choice. Not very likable, and not someone we want to meet in battle.

I think we're going to need to expand our holdings, I'm presuming that opportunities to do that will come up during the game, or through disavowed bannermen. But if any of you know through your role other ways that we can expand, let me know. Keep in mind there might be spies in the camp though.

Yeah, I don't know anything about raids or other events yet. But I'm guessing that things will come up during the day that we have to react to, or that we'll be given options for miltiary and intrigue as the days begin.

I will be here at deadline generally, as well as periodically through the day.

Clap, I assume you have some men, gold and ships at your disposal. If you can give me those numbers at some point, that would help me.

Our best hope is to get the two other houses to gang up on Lannister right now. I may use my PM to speak to path12/Renly and convince him of the same. If not we may have a split vote in which case the neutrals will decide, or they may gang up on us. Melisandre makes a good target since no one knows what she might be able to do.

I can't say I entirely agree with your choice to execute Clegane, my liege, especially with the repercussions it seems to have caused. However, since that is done, we must discuss what we shall do next.

Well, if I had kept him, then they would be busy allying against us. It would be a huge target making us the "strongest" player. Renly's pissed becuase he wanted me to give him Gregor, but I certainly have no interest in making someone else stronger than us. Hopefully he'll get over it. I'm not going to start a war between the three other houses before we've even gotten rid of Joffrey.

Maidenpool was raided last night by unknown raiders! The raiders took half of the land's gold income, anmd also halved the training of soliders and stopped all production of ships.

Similarly, Duskendale was also raided, but the raiders were successfully fought off.

Clap, I assume that someone from Renly's camp has privately contacted you and urged you to switch sides. I just want to point out that it seems Renly has gotten Tywin, at least, into his camp, as well as Theon Greyjoy. If he has offered things to you as well, you have to wonder who he's actually going to include in his camp when the time comes to have only three winners. I think perhaps we should make the same sort of offer to one of his. Loras has family ties to you, Ser Axell. Or maybe Portnose, how is the most likely to get bumped from Renly's coalition.

I would suggest perhaps you message a bannerman, or perhaps Cersei? Penrose in Renly's camp might be somebody to talk to. If Lannisters and Renly are getting together, Penrose is most likely going to be the one pushed out of the alliance. Or we could talk to Cersei about helping her to remove Tywin from the Lannister camp, or her aiding our house. If you feel like taking up one of those causes you could do that.

What has happened is that Renly turned against us, we are hopefully allied with the Starks against him. He has declared war against us and we will be fighting this afternoon. Thus the mercenaries. Melisandre's assassin killed one of Renly's men and hopefully hte Starks at least will join us in the war, but maybe not in which case we're in trouble.

So there's a very real chance the Starks leave us high and dry here. If anyone is available to talk to Robb I can either send you as an emissary or you can simply use your PM there.

We need to do something to thank the Starks. In a PM earlier (I couldn't relay it in time because I wasn't home) Robb said he'd definitely come through for us (which he did) and though he didn't require it, some gold or something would be nice in return. I think a generous sum of gold is a good idea, because he also lost a bannerman/Hand, fighting for us...

I agree in spirit, but he also gained the captive. If we had captured Brienne I would have offered to send her to Robb, but he gained the only spoil while we still have a land occupied. We will contact him and maybe send him something though. I'm disappointed the Lannisters chose to do that.

More importantly is what we do next. Luckily the iron Island give us the option of not turning against the Starks yet. So we can negotiate with them to continue together. I think we want to ally against the isles so we have someone to vote against. the question then is whether to war against anyone or try to make any other alliances.

Renly's not going to bend the knee to us, though he should to someone. I suppose we can try Joffrey again.

Okay, Clap. I will send you as an emissary to Zinto (Joffrey). I want you to make the point that Renly is a lost cause. He has one bannerman left who is about to get lynched. Moreover, the Lannisters and Renly combined couldn't win the battle, and now they're weaker. Zinto needs to latch on to a full contingent and that is us. With the Starks we can work at weakening the new faction, and with Zinto on board with us we should be able to take out any of the remaining factions. If he wants a simple alliance, I'm on board, though he may want to consider bending the knee now that he's out of bannerman. I would be glad simply to have his vote with ours, and his armies with ours in battle though.

While an emissary you will be able to PM back and forth with him, but won't be able to communicate with us until you're done. So you have your one PM presumably, and you can message me privately either if you want to discuss something before leaving, or to fill me in on the details when you get back. Don't post much in here for spies to see.

Yeah, looking over the players left, I think you can point out to him that an alliance with Dragonstone and the Starks is his best bet, as it would give us the voting numbers. If Greyjoy and Renly join together, even with Tywin they won't have a majority of votes, even with Zinto, not quite. However, if Zinto joins the Starks and us, especially if font kneels to CW, we will have the majority of votes and be able to control the game.

Well, at some point, but I'm not sure where w'ere going yet. I was hoping to continue the alliance with the Starks and probably vote the Greyjoys, but I have not heard back from them yet. It's possible CW's deal with path involved more than just an exchange.

I had expected that from Renly and lot after Loras died. I thought perhaps Melisandre would be able to protect herself, but it seems not. Now my inability to bring Tywin to the side will hurt quite a bit as we're brought down to everyone else's level. Of course it's entirely possible someone else hired the assassin, but I'm not sure anyone else would wast the money at this stage.

We have to assume the Starks are going to leave us high and dry tomorrow, which is unfortunate. We need to work doubly hard on getting the Lannisters to join our side. If not we may have to abandon the war and take the honor hit. I was hoping to milk the Stark alliance one more day but it's not looking like that will happen.

I was sure we would get Theon. Well, anyone would be a fool to side with the Starks at this point, at least. They have more men, more land, more bannermen than anyone else. I will check the numbers, but I may be switching our votes to Karstark.

But keep in mind, that even if you serve as the emissary, one of your bannermen will not be available to capture or raid or serve as emissaries for the rest of the day.

Well, that went about as well as I could have hoped once the Starks jumped ship. We hold on to Storm's End, which is a big prize, and hopefully we can get some leverage on Renly through that. Both the deaths went elsewhere, which is the danger of ganging up on someone - we only had 2 bannermen that could be killed, out of 8 total, so chance was in our favor. Now, if we can get Axell back we'll have evened the score a bit - Robb and I with 2 bannermen, 2 other kings with one, one with none. Perhaps I can use Storm's End to entice Renly to bend the knee to me!

So things we need to accomplish today are to speak with Renly about Storm's End, decide where to direct our vote today (and remember that lynches now kill). Clap, you will probably be a prime voting target, so if possible we want to get the others to turn against the Starks instead.

If Joffrey votes with us, which I think he will, that gives us 6.5 votes combined. The Starks have 4, Renly has 3, Greyjoys have 3.5. We obviously haven't made friends with either the Greyjoys or Renly, but then again they have to see that they're not all going to stay friends with the Starks.
