Okay, with my new laptop I have noticed an issue, not sure if it is an issue with Windows 8 or the laptop itself.

I keep losing connectivity.

The signal strength still shows 3-5 bars but the connection drops and resets.

No other computer or devices seems to be having an issue.

I noticed the other day as I made a call on the phone the laptop lost connectivity. Not sure if that is related.

Anyone else know of any issues like this?

Thanks in advance.

Funny you mention this. My wife's new HP desktop did this a couple of times today as well. Apparently the wireless adapter was disabled somehow.

It's weird. It completely drops, I check the list of networks and the network is there and shows good to strong signal and then it reconnects.

I noticed that traffic may be the cause but not sure why it is just this computer. My daughter was on her computer earlier and this one was dropping like crazy. Now it has gotten better as she is no longer on.

This didn't happen with the other laptop, before it crapped out.

Whenever someone uses a Windows 8 laptop on my router (Belkin N 600), I have to reset it, the signal strength to some of my other devices gets screwed up. It's a royal PITA right now, my in laws are bunking up in my house while they are getting ready to move, and one has a Windows 8 laptop.
