Anyone giving the "new" service a trial run?

It says $7.99 month unlimited listening to any song, artist, or station. skip as much as you like and no ads...download and listen offline etc.

What I want to know and cant find an answer without actually trialing this, is this just another pandora/iheartradio etc just with unlimited skips, or can I literally listen to any album in existence at my whim.

I may be willing to pay $10/month for a personal e-jukebox of whatever I want...especially if I can listen to entire albums.

So anyone tried it?

I pay 9.99 a month for Rhapsody basically listen to any song you want. Full albums. Most new albums are up on release day. Download and listen offline on your mobile device or computer. I really enjoy it and find it convenient. Haven't used Google Play though.

Im assuming the downloads are somehow protected and if you cancel you lose them?

I use spotify for 9.99 a month and I can listen to any song or album I want, no commercials, unlimited skips, like if I was using windows media player. I believe Google Play is supposed to be just like it so I would imagine it is the same thing.

I use spotify as well. This move by google is definitely not new, just has bigger name recognition behind it.
