After watching the World Series of Poker and some Poker league on the Travel chanel I'd like to learn to play. I understand the basic rules but need a way to play. Anyone have any suggestions. I really can't afford to buy anything right now so a free place to play would be best.

I play this site sometimes for pretend money. Does any one play it for real $$? Please give me some info.

Ugh....I'd get in enough trouble playing chess at work let alone poker....looks fun though, those poker shows are cool to watch (what was Phil Ivey thinking last week? :-) )

I was totally pulling for Phil Ivey. I think he had the best "table image" at the table that night. Oh well... he's definitely an up-and-comer. I'm sure we'll see his face again.

So was I. Howard was good though...talk about stoic.

Looks like Phil is on againnext week (http://www.worldpokertour.com/tv_show/preview.phtml). Being the "Tiger Woods of Poker" I think he might be on pretty often.
