We have a thread about other people playing incredible golf, so how about a thread about us playing terrible golf?

Just went out for the fourth time this year to a local county course called Hominy Hill: Hominy Hill Golf Course (http://www.hominyhill.com/holephotos.html) . I typically play 6-10 times a year, and have since I was pretty young. I think I was 7 or 8 when my Dad took me out for the first time when we were on vacation in Florida. I'm 26 now, so it's almost been 20 years.

I still suck, but I've been getting better rapidly lately. Yesterday for Father's Day, my dad and I went out. I shot a 94, largely in part to way too many triple bogeys. I shot par 6 times and had a birdie on the par-5 17th hole. I also parred (is that a word?) every par-3, which is fantastic for me, as I'm not a very good short-game player.

I had two monster drives, one 300 and one 320, and was hitting everything pretty good when I made good contact. Naturally I completely flubbed a few, but when I was on, I was on.

Anyway, I'm sure there's a bunch of you who play. Tell us your stories!

Or how about the thread that actually has some discussions of regular people who play golf in a not so great manner.
