Openings in the Imperial Football League

The Imperial Football League is a mature league that started in the summer of 2004. 9 years later we are beginning our2026 season

The league was formed in order to provide an option for GM’s that either wanted a slower pace in order to really get to know their players and their teams or a weekend league to complement their leagues that play during the week. We play 2 games a week on Sundays and Thursdays

I'd just like to make a plug for the IFL. We just had our championship game and Staff Hiring begins Tuesday so now is a great time to jump in. Both Houston and St. Louis have some good building blocks. Houston has an excellent QB-WR combo. and STL made the playoffs last year. STL has all their draft picks this year while HOU has all but their 3rd rounder.

As Hoya1 mentioned the IFL is a bit slower paced which really helps if you have a busy RL schedule and increases the immersion level I think. The league has a good mixture of vets and more "casual" GMs. Come join us!

STL is a strong defensive team boasting both the best ILB and OLB in the league. they are a great young team primed for a sustained run.

Come join us! We are just starting free agency and the draft begins Friday - so there's still time to build your team the way you want to. Most of the available teams have tons of cap room and all their draft choices...including West Virginia with the #1 pick in the draft (Portland has #8). The league is a lot of fun, laid back but still with stout competition.

we are just finished oru last season of FOF2k7 and looking to fill up post conversion

We have 2 sims per week during the regular season, and pretty much daily sims during the offseason.

Still some open teams in the IFL. The Oakland Assassins may be the best of the lot. #1 pick in the draft and some very good young talent already on the roster (and cap room too!). Take the QB of the future in the draft and you are ready to compete for the next decade!
