There are several ways to get there:
1. Java-based web client: GameSurge >> Chat (https://gamesurge.net/chat/)
2. Firefox or Chrome Extension. (I successfully tested FF's "Chatzilla" and can confirm that it worked for me.)
3. Download an IRC client. I am using mIRC. There are a bunch of free ones out there.

I'll begin by presenting a general outline of the feature set for FOF7. While I have at least 20 pages of outline material, since I'm not yet in alpha and some of the pieces of new development are 3-4 years old and not yet heavily tested, I don't want to present details that might not make the final cut.

Then I'll answer the questions asked beforehand. Afterward, I'll take new questions for a while.

As far as timeline, since that will obviously be the first question asked... I'd like to get this out in November, but testing can uncover problems and I don't know how the new game will be published. While I'd love to have it on Steam, I don't think it's necessarily a game they'd be interested in publishing.

You can always get parallels for the MAC. It is a great pc emulator and I run text sims through it all the time seamlessly.

You don't have to partition your drive with Parallels or VMWare Fusion. It's quite simple.

i run fof on mac through wine. it was a bit hard to set up, but it just launches from terminal (like a c prompt). no parallels or vmware or any of that

dunno if it will work on the new version, but i hope so

I didn't even know that game got test....... I have bowling Tuesdays but definitely look forward to see what he is most proud of in this release. If it is a combo game with college football I probably wouldn't live on after 10 days of straight playing this.

Agreed. Most of my game playing is on my ipad or iphone. That being said, I'm down for anything that's an update to FOF. I still play it and there isn't a game that is that old that I still play.

I would say with 100% certainty the only way you'll be playing this game on your mobile device is with a "remote desktop" type of solution.
