I think the move to shorter seasons has been beneficial in that it appears to have given them a better shot at putting quality shows out. Good season so far.

That, and this is the first time in a while they've been able to focus 100% on South Park. The last couple of years they've had to juggle the show along with The Book of Mormon.

For the first time, South Park missed getting an episode ready by the deadline.

Episode 1704 will not air tonight - News - South Park Studios (http://www.southparkstudios.com/news/j2j34b/episode-1704-will-not-air-tonight)

On Tuesday night, South Park Studios lost power. From animation to rendering to editing and sound, all of our computers were down for hours and we were unable to finish episode 1704 "Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers" in time for air tonight. Trey Parker said, "It sucks to miss an air date but after all these years of tempting fate by delivering the show last minute, I guess it was bound to happen."

Randy Marsh and Butters are the two best side characters the show has.. I honestly think Butters saved the show when he was introduced. I like the cockney kid from the minecraft episode a lot too, I hope he makes a few cameos going forward.

Shortening to 10 episodes and doing it all in one run seems like a good formula for them. It definitely produced some excellent stuff this year.

Played and finished the rpg "The stick of truth"

was really awesome, a bit short for that kind of games (finished it in 15 hours while doing 90% of the quests) due to the fact that there aren't many side quests.

But it really feels like a south park episode, i'd say it's a must buy for any fans out there.
