britt, do you use a "formula" or is this a pure subjective opinion list?

I use the SRS from College Football Reference. (I will say that I'm quite surprised at ASU's jump this week.)

A couple seasons ago, I used my own version of the SRS with different upper and lower bounds for margin of victory. But using another SRS saves me several hours of data input over the season.

Got ya. Was trying to figure out why a win dropped TN out and how UGA was where they are.

Formulas do some screwy things early in seasons if it was purely your opinion I was curious what you saw

Yeah. Can't say exactly why that win wasn't enough for Tennessee to hold off, say, Mississippi. It was a close win at home, FWIW, but this SRS 1) records all wins by <7 points as 7-point wins, and does not account for home field. So, it's all the more curious.

I didn't realize beating Iowa earned a team so many points. :D

Should have dropped them out of the poll by only winning by 10. :)

Ohio St. has been my #2 all season. They keep winning, so I keep them there.
