My idea was to track the career and progression of a lower quaility FOF QB who is pushed into a starting role. I deceided to use the last pick in the draft to select the player so that I could get a "pre draft" then "post draft" look at the player.

QB Giles Started 16 games, was 340 for 562 (60.4%) for 3005 yards. He averaged 5.34 YPC with 13 TD and 16 INT. His QB rating was 70.6

The team went 12-3-1 (they have a strong def), won the division, and lost in the second round of the playoffs. I would rank 20th for the season.

Behind another strong defensive effort, Giles led the team to 14-2 record. The Hill Cats went 8-0, then 14-1, and lost the last game to close out 14-2.

Giles had a solid season starting 16 games, was 336 for 543 (61.8%) for 3441 yards. He averaged 6.33 yards with 18 TD and 6 INT. His QB rating was a respectable 86.4. I would rank him 4th in the league this season, but he still was not able to carry his success into a post-season win.

Giles line is nothing special, nor are the running backs. What seems to have given him an edge this season was an above average recieving corp.

Gile has endured 91 sacks in two seaons, so we know he is durable.

The stong defense is starting to lose depth. Giles led the team to 10-6 record and secured his first post season win.

Giles had a solid season starting 16 games, was 350 for 563 (62.1%) for 3454 yards. He averaged 6.13 yards with 14 TD and 9 INT. His QB rating was a respectable 81.0. I would rank him 13th in the league this season.

Tommy Giles after 3 years starting has about reached his green line potential in all areas. In some of the areas where he "maxed" the red lines have increased. My expectation is for this to continue for a few seasons. With luck, his ability to avoid interceptions and his accuracy will improve.

A down year, or a sign of the times?. Giles led the team to 8-8 record and failed to make the post season for the first time. The stong defense has slipped after losing 6 D-linemen.

Giles had another decent season starting 16 games, was 359 for 581 (61.7%) for 3505 yards. He averaged 6.03 yards with 20 TD and 8 INT. His QB rating was a solid 84.4. I would rank him 8th in the league this season.

His ratings inched a little higher.

Looks like he's still demanding top-dollar despite his notably average physical skills... although I suppose his actual performance isn't too bad.

2.25 mil? Nah, that is not high priced at all. My 3 starting LB are eating up 20 mil.

Are you adhering to some house rules? What difficulty level are you set at?

House Rules:

I only use players that have never played for any team but mine. So no FA, and no aquisition through trade.

I thought there was only one difficulty level.

In this career, the QB I am detailing is my starting QB, unless he is OUT.

Another down year. Giles led the team to 6-9-1 record after a 0-4 start.

Giles had a passable season starting 16 games, was 373 for 614 (60.7%) for 3554 yards. He averaged 5.78 yards with 18 TD and 13 INT. He was also sacked 58 times. His QB rating was a uninspiring 77.7. I would rank him 21st in the league this season.

(side note: no first team QB started less than 11 games this season. Amazing)

His ratings inched a little higher.

Next season I think we will ask a little less of him in the game plan.

A rebound year for the team with a studly rookie RB getting 1900 total yards and scoring 19 times. Giles led the team to 10-6 and 2 playoff wins after a fast 3-0 start.

Giles had another season in decline starting 16 games, was 294 for 491 (59.8%) for 3158 yards. He averaged 6.43 yards with 19 TD and 19 INT. His QB rating was a uninspiring 75.5. I would rank him 21st in the league again this season.

(side note: no first team QB started less than 11 games this season. Amazing)

His ratings inched a little higher.

The plan to shift more to the run has helped the team, but hurt Giles. The defense is a wreck, so Giles has to drive the team further down the field. Still, there is some continuity as number 17 has not missed one game in his 6 seasons.

I'm surprised at how well Giles has played, you would think he wouldn't be playing that well.

Interesting Dynasty, keep it up!:D
