I couldn't find information on this, hopefully I didn't just overlook it somehow. For player ratings, is there anywhere that identifies the expectations of that player based on the rating?

For example, just making this up, but something that shows.

Rating of <20 - shouldn't even be on your roster
Rating of 21-40 - reserve/backup type player
Rating of 41-70 - starter on your team
Rating of 70-89 - superstar, top of the league
Rating of 90+ future hall of famer

These are just made up ranges, but is there a guide like this somewhere? I know other factors come into play too (i.e. chemistry, etc.), but still would be great to use something like this to help review my player's ability.

The overall rating is an awfully coarse tool for something like this. I don't think there can ever be something as simple as a chart to tell you what to expect.

I might have six different linebackers who all grade out at 40/40 overall. But given their mix of ratings, I might astutely see them as: run-stopper starter at WLB, solid all-around backup caliber guy, coverage specialist for dime, special teams standout, still-intriguing creeper, and easy cut. I don't see any way to chart that out... it's case by case.
