Is there anyone playing this right now? I just re-downloaded it, and im giving it another whirl. Im just having a hard time getting over the learning curve. I can hold my own with armour, but Infantry and Artillery is another matter. I would enjoy playing some people here at FOFC that are not too experienced. If anyone is interested please reply. I would rather play in real time rather the PBEM but would consider both. I also would rather play smaller skirmishes rather than large engagements.

I may be in the same situation as you. I'm not an avid war gamer but do like the game. I haven't gotten over the entire learning curve yet. I don't know if I would have the time for an entire head to head real time matchup though so let me know if you want to try a PBEM game. Has it been patched or anything recently, I downloaded it a while ago so I don;t know if I have to patch it to be compatable.

For starters I have no clue how to build a proper army. I guess im stuck to playing solitare matches...

I have the game. But i havent played in since last summer. Its a tough game to learn but its pretty dam fun.
