Is there a way to import a draft class so that the draft following the first season will include real players such as Manziel, Clowney, Matthews, etc.?

Its not easy. Have to create a spreadsheet of 800+ players in excel, and save it as .cvs file. Use the dcvs text file in your /datafile folder as guide for what colum does what.

Then use the draftfile application to convert your .cvs file into a .faf file so it can be uploaded by your game after the end of the season.

Thanks for the quick reply! So is there a library of past draft classes that may have been created for the community to use? If not, It sounds like there is quite a bit of knowledge needed to create your own, so it looks like, with my lack of computer abilities, that that's off the table!!

Hi,

I'm pretty new to this game. I've heard about it for years, but never got around to playing it but have been a big Baseball Mogul/iOTTP and Football Manager guy for over a decade. Anyway, football is my passion and I just started working on a random draft file with the 2014 class.

I made a random generated draft file from Fictional Player Factory Web Player Generator (http://greenlight-systems.com/fof/) and then sorted every player by position, and then took the average "scores" of all the categories and sorted by that to give me some sort of ranking of players. Then I looked at CBS Sports top draft prospects by position and started filling in names one by one down the sorted order - so there's roughly 25 per position. So, this is more or less just a randomly generated set of ratings with real names attached to it.

I did go back in and revise some things like Manziel's height, and re-did some ratings for Clowney and De'Anthony Thomas. I havent had time, or may not even change other info from other players, so schools, heights, weights, etc arent really accurate at all to go along with the ratings by skill.

If someone wants to go back in and do that, feel free. I attached the CSV file so you can either create a FAF file or revise it or whatever you wish.
